Executive Coaching
My approach to executive coaching is intensive because I take a comprehensive view of my clients: appreciating what sets them apart and has contributed to their success – here, the goal is to refine and build upon these qualities.
Additionally, I also see areas where certain skills or behavioral options may be overlooked, perceived as irrelevant, or even deemed dangerous – here, we strive to broaden horizons and explore uncharted territory.
Our coaching sessions are characterized by my ability to effectively challenge clients when necessary while providing constructive reinforcement when it is crucial. This allows us to elevate our coaching sessions beyond the level of ‘It’s good that we talked about it!’. Together, we’ll identify the most effective lever (the minimum factor) with the biggest impact to facilitate the transformative change you are looking for.
Anyone who wants to advise experienced, intelligent, and independent clients must possess the same qualities. I understand the unique challenges that entrepreneurs and leaders face. I’m familiar with the hidden pitfalls and can see beyond the surface. I’m direct in my approach, unafraid to address difficult issues, and my focus is on helping you unlock your full potential—developing not just the skills you know, but also those untapped abilities you may not even realize you have yet.
During our collaboration, we differentiate between organizational and individual topics and identify your minimum factor—the element with the greatest potential for impactful growth.
The law of the minimum is a fundamental principle in agricultural science, first formulated by Carl Sprengel and Justus von Liebig. It states that an organism’s growth is determined not by the total amount of resources available, but by the scarcest resource, known as the minimum factor.
Enhancing this limiting factor is the most effective lever to expedite growth and achieve significant development. This factor is not always immediately apparent. However, once this critical factor is identified and addressed, it has the potential to unleash a remarkable boost in growth and progress.
In your professional life, you assume various roles – you are a leader, a role model, a unifier, an opinion leader, and a provider of meaning… You fill these roles with your unique style and personality.
While leadership guides, training programs, and many coaches tend to emphasize a specific style, their effectiveness and long-term sustainability are often limited.
The most influential factor for your success is your own personality. Investing in developing and nurturing your personality serves as the most powerful lever, requiring minimal effort. Focusing on your minimum factor evokes meaningful and lasting change, beneath the surface.
Formally, we work outside of regular working hours. This ensures that customers have time to digest and do not have to go straight into the next meeting.
Usually, we work for 90-120 minutes. A sequence of 6-10 appointments is initially sufficient and usually necessary.
I only provide limited seats at any given time for this program to ensure the highest quality and focus. Therefore, my fees are not based on time, but on your benefit and our common goals.
Coaching can be carried out in person or online via Zoom.
I coach in English and German.
